Vineyard
Transcript: Tango Our bargain wine, Girasol, will be priced at $15-20 per bottle. Our reserve label wine, Tango, will be priced at $45-50 per bottle. We feel these prices allow us t be competitive, but also affordable. Terroir Torrontés is a white Argentine grape variety. Our vineyard is in the Mendoza Province of Argentina. These grapes like the hot and dry climate, where it also only gets about ten inches of rain a year. The altitude also helps with temperature fluctuation between night and day. The soil is loose sand over clay, which makes for good drainage. The growing season for Torrontés is generally early March through mid-April. * Stainless steel fermentation for 30 days *Age 10% in French Oak and bottle age 90% for 2 months. *Aroma: sweet and smokey *Taste: vanilla, oak, and honey * 13.6% alcohol * Food pairing: Grilled Fish and rice Torrontés Our wines have been incredibly successful in Argentina! We've been featured at number of highly popular wine expos and other events across the country over the past few years. We've received lots of business from this exposure! We hope both our bargain wine (Girasol) and our reserve wine (Tango) will be sold in liquor stores, restaurants, and hotels. We also expect to participate in various wine expos, festivals, and tasting events, as we have done in Argentina. Years ago, our grandmother took a trip to Argentina. There, she met a handsome vineyard worker named Esteban, and the two fell in love. When it came time for Grandma to leave, Esteban begged her not to go, but to stay with him in Argentina. As much as she wanted to stay, Grandma reluctantly returned home to the United States because she knew her family would never approve. Even though she fell in love and married our grandfather, she never forgot about her first love. After he died, she returned to Argentina to find Esteban, taking me and my two sisters with her. After lots of searching, she finally found Esteban at his vineyard and stayed to help him run it. When they became too old to take care of the vineyard, we decided to run it for them.
