Great with students, workers, family, etc. For example: With games like Jeopardy and Family Feud, players can pick practically any answers. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.

Transcript: POWERPOINT ALTERNATIVE - PREZI MY PRESENTATION - Lakeesya Jones Assignment Answers Assignment Answers I enjoyed using this and it is very similar to PowerPoint but much more advanced. The VCN ExecuVision, was developed in 1982, and was the first software to display a presentation on a personal computer. PowerPoint, which was introduced to the Macintosh computer in 1987, is what we know to be the most popular since its inclusion in the Microsoft package for businesses, teachers, etc. But as with all things technology related, something more advanced will come along. PowerPoint has been around and will still be around for years to come due to its basic fundamentals. Prezi is a presentation tool that I like for what it has to offer. It's effective and easy to navigate. You get the simplicity of PowerPoint while having the ability to modernize your presentation. Using the free basic account as a student, I created this presentation. Below are the assignment answers: • Prezi (name of tool) • Prezi.com (website) • Cloud storage and can be downloaded for offline use • Offers free trials • Customer support available Origin and Usage Origin & Usage Prezi was founded in 2009, with office locations in Budapest, San Francisco, and Riga. The word Prezi is the short form for the word "presentations" in Hungarian. As of April 2018, Prezi had more than 100 million users. The traffic from those users spawned more than 325 million public presentations and those creations have been viewed over 3.5 billion times. Features Features Prezi is popular for its nonlinear presentations. You can pan and zoom from one page to the next without actually moving to a new slide. Some features are: • View and edit your presentations from any device • Store all your presentations in the cloud • Share and collaborate with others • Download for offline use • Use advanced image editing tools • Manage privacy • Plans start at $4.92 a month • Pros: Create nonlinear presentations with ease • Cons: Not fully customizable; can only create non-linear presentations; can actually cause motion sickness in some viewers FUN FACTS Fun Facts There are many levels to Prezi presentations and lots of features you can use. Click the Subtopics on the left to explore some basics that I implemented. Reviews Subtopic 1 Harvard researchers are quoted in the Huffington Post as saying “they find Prezi more engaging, persuasive and effective than PowerPoint”. Fun Fact 1: Text I love how you can go in depth within a slide. And find that there are layers within the subtopic slides! (Click bottom left to continue to add more subtopics.) Fun Fact 2: Add As Many Images As You Like Pictures More Subtopic 2 You can add charts and timelines as you see on the right. And, of course, music to the entire presentation.
