Transcript: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE Thank you. Njegos Dukic December 2019. INTRODUCTION The theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, translation between languages, and others.. In computer science, Artificial Intelligence (Machine Intelligence) is intelligence demonstrated by machines in contrast to natural intelligence displayed by humans. Term AI is often used to describe machines or computers that mimic "cognitive" functions that we associate with human mind such as learning or problem solving. INTELLIGENT AGENTS Study of "intelligent agents" - Entities that perceive the environment and take actions that maximize their chance of successfully achieving goals.
